Our most treasured specialty. This thick, sweet Balsamic Vinegar of Modena PGI has notes of cooked grape must, dried fruit and wood. Its beautifully round, velvety flavor is made to accompany a variety of Italian foods. Try drizzling this decadent aged vinegar over slices of Parmigiano Reggiano, fresh strawberries, even ice cream. Elevate a simple platter of roasted meat or grilled vegetables. A little goes a long way with this dense and flavorful vinegar!
Compared to lighter balsamics,(like our Balsamic Vinegar of Modena 1.19 density) its higher density enhances natural sweetness and concentration, delivering a deeper, more structured and indulgent flavor.
Our Vignoli Balsamic Vinegar of Modena follows strict PGI guidelines. Once the cooked grape must and wine vinegar are combined, they then mature in top-quality barrels exclusively made of wood such as sessile oak, cherry or mulberry. Our Balsamic Vinegar of Modena contains no chemicals– no caramel colors, no Arabic gum, no artificial flavors, and no added sulfites.
