A Message from Claudio Vignoli: Welcome to the Vignoli Famiglia!
My name is Claudio Vignoli
I’ve been immersed in all things olive oil since 1996 while serving as a technical and commercial consultant, and Master Miller and Olive Oil Sommelier.
As an expert in my field, I walk olive oil producers through every step of the process, from olive harvesting and oil extraction to performing chemical and organoleptic analysis. I also advise producers on how to identify new markets, business opportunities, and innovative packaging solutions.
Via my many years of industry-specific experience, I have learned virtually all there is to know about growing and harvesting olive trees as well as operating olive oil mills. In addition, I have tasted and evaluated literally thousands of olive oils from around the globe. Now, as an Olive Oil Consultant, I frequently travel the world to teach producers how to select the best technologies for producing the best high-quality extra virgin olive oils that customers crave.
After many years of working as an expert advising other companies on how to produce their own olive oil, I started to think that maybe it’s time for me to start producing my own. I have all of the necessary knowledge and expertise, so why not?
This is how my latest project, Vignoli Food Anthology, came to life after almost two years of hard work. My dream was finally realized—a brand bearing my namesake, because I put nothing less than my complete heart and soul, even my reputation, into making this dream a reality.
When I first started Vignoli Italian Food Anthology back in 2020, my mission was to share the many high quality naturally created artisanal delights that Italy is known for, and what a spectacular journey it’s been. I am excited to finally be able to bring my exclusive line of Extra Virgin Olive Oils, Balsamic Vinegars of Modena IGP along with my naturally flavor-infused EVOOs, balsamic vinegars, from-scratch pastas, sauces, olives, and tapenades to America and beyond.

The Importance of Packaging
We believe that the exceptional quality and unique characteristics of our handcrafted extra virgin olive oil and other gourmet items should not only be enjoyed on the palate but also upon first glance, and our specially designed packaging plays a crucial role in this regard. This is why we have hired a fantastic design team and we only use top-quality packaging materials. When you buy a Vignoli Food Anthology product, we want it to be a delight for your eyes as well as your taste buds.

Why do we store Olive Oil exclusively in dark glass bottles?
The extra virgin olive oil that is packaged in a transparent glass bottle and exposed to heat sources—in only eight hours, the same bottle will have lost color, flavors, aromas, and if exposed to strong fluorescent lights, the product becomes vulnerable and damaged in less than a week. It makes buying olive oil in a supermarket a much less appealing and desirable option.
For this reason, we have decided to bottle our products using only and exclusively dark glass bottles, guaranteeing better protection for the quality and conservation of the oil itself.
Beyond that, the major part of oils sold in the United States has inadequate or even misleading labels. The final consumer does not receive the information necessary for the conservation methods, information relating to the production place, which variety of olives was used, but much more fundamental—when the oil was harvested.

This is reflected in the fact that all of our products are 100% Italian and come from local farms in Italy who have earned our trust over the years while all of our pantry items are 100% homemade and based on original recipes created by our in-house Chefs. When it comes to production, we strictly oversee the entire supply chain, from start to finish, to bring you premium freshness and quality.
